Media language: westernised clothes…westernised dancing… set in different countries: Namibia, Brazil.

Representation: of the women as sex objects. Sexy and attractive, men are portrayed as strong and muscular.

Audience: teenage, adults and Asians.

Ideology: Patriarchal= men on motorbikes…women are portrayed independent but seen as sex objects.

Narrative: non-linear, shows flash backs of certain scenes.

Social: a form of escapism and racial events.

Historical: goes against traditional movies e.g. mother India and sholay.

Economic: increase in moving to one country to another…rich girl falls in love with poor boy and have to go to certain extents to get married because her family doesn’t agree with the marriage.
